At The Massage Company, we aim to keep things simple and transparent. These Terms & Conditions outline how our memberships, services, and offers work, helping you make the most of your experience with us. Each area of our business – including Massage Memberships, Red-Light Therapy, Physiotherapy, and more – has its own specific terms, which you can view under the corresponding tab.

By using our services or purchasing a membership, package, or voucher, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Please take a moment to read through them carefully. If you have any questions, our team is here to help clarify anything so you can enjoy your experience with confidence.

Membership Benefits (all membership types)

• Massage credits are valid for 6 months across all TMC services, giving you flexibility to use any of our services alongside your monthly massage.
• Credits can be redeemed against physiotherapy*, massage therapy*, red light therapy*, stretch therapy*, Fusion Facials* and other services available at The Massage Company. (* where available)
• 5 credits can be used to extend a 50 minute to an 80-minute massage
• Benefit from further discount on additional massages/services in a calendar month
• Option to split 1 credit into 2 x 25min massages
• Preferred pricing on upgrades
• Memberships may be put on hold for a maximum of 2 months with no charge, during which time pre-paid credits may be used
• If moving from one type of Membership to another, a new Membership agreement will commence. The benefits of each Membership type remain mutually exclusive, and cannot be combined

Plus:

• Refer a friend and be rewarded with a free 50-minute massage gift voucher when they pay to join our membership
• You can use your membership credits at any of our locations nationwide; however, prices may vary, and you will be subject to the prices charged at the centre you take your massage. Check our website for pricing in different centres, and to book online

Full Membership

• Full Memberships are committed to the monthly payment of their initial term
• You may gift or transfer massages to friends, family, and colleagues (Full members – max 2 per calendar year to any single person)
• If you cancel a Full Membership before the end of your initial membership period, a £50 fee applies in addition to our standard membership conditions.
• Full Memberships are not transferable, but massages can be gifted as above
• Any remaining credits at point of cancellation are not refundable but may be converted into gift vouchers with a 3-month redemption

Flexi Membership

• Flexi memberships roll forward month to month without commitment beyond the min 1 month cancellation stated below
• Flexi membership credits may be shared with any number of different people over time
• Any remaining credits at point of cancellation are not refundable but may be converted into gift vouchers with a 3-month redemption

Payments and Membership Cancellation (all memberships)

• Your monthly massage fee will be withdrawn on the 1st day of the month, and The Massage Company has the right to continue to charge your account or cancel your membership in accordance with these terms and conditions
• If payment is not made for 3 months in a row, then TMC has the right to terminate the membership and any massages that are in the account will be deducted.
• If your membership formally on hold, without accumulated credits, you may not use vouchers in replacement of credits for the initial massage in the month. Vouchers may always be used for additional massages at any time.
• Upon termination, which must be by email or letter to the centre you pay, you will have a notice period of one (1) month, during which any membership fees will be payable, and a further 1 month to allow you to redeem or gift all your remaining massages before they expire
• All memberships can be cancelled within one month of date of joining, for any reason

General Terms and Conditions

• Any credits converted to gift vouchers will have our normal 3-month expiry date. Massage credits are valid for 6 months
• Promotional gift vouchers may be used anytime for additional massages in any month, not replacements for the primary payment
• Membership credits and gift vouchers may be redeemed against the following non-service options:

• The Massage Company is not responsible for lost articles or items and reserves the right to refuse or discontinue our massages for any reason
• We reserve the right to change guidelines, terms, conditions, opening hours or pricing at any time by providing reasonable notice of such a change
• All appointments are 100% payable at point of booking. You may cancel or reschedule appointments with no charge any time before the close of business on the day before. Same day cancellations or appointment changes will be charged 50% of the scheduled service, and 100% if you cancel inside 1 hour of the appointment or do not show up
• You must be over 16 (under 18 will have same gender therapist, parental supervision & consultation form signed by parent)

Red Light Therapy

General Terms and Conditions

• All Red-Light Therapy (RLT) sessions are 20 minutes in duration.
• Results vary from individual to individual and are not guaranteed.

Introductory Offers (First Time RLT Users Only)

• Customers may purchase one of the following introductory offers:
• Option 1 Option 2

£99 for 4 sessions               £29.95 for 1 session

• Available to first-time Red-Light Therapy users only.
• One Introductory Offer per person.
• Not shareable.
• Cannot be combined with any other offer, package, or membership.
• Once an Introductory Offer has been used, all future bookings must be made:
  • As a member
  • Via a Package
  • Via the Single Session price
• Introductory Offers cannot be reused.
• All Introductory Offers are non-refundable for any reason.

Single Session Purchases

• £69.95 per session, without an Introductory Offer, Package, or Membership.
• All single session purchases are non-refundable.

Red Light Core Membership

• £99 per month
• Includes 4 credits per month (equivalent to £25 per session).

Membership Terms

• Payments are taken on the 1st of each month, unless a specific alternative payment date is agreed.
• Minimum commitment: 3 months.
• If cancelled before completion of the minimum term, the remaining balance required to complete the 3-month commitment will be charged at the point of cancellation.
• Credits:
  • Valid for 30 days.
  • Do not roll over.
  • Unused credits are forfeited.
• Memberships may be frozen for a maximum of one month at a time, with no payment due during the frozen month.
  • Example: January freeze → February active → March freeze.
• Memberships cannot be frozen for more than one month consecutively.
• Red-Light Therapy is less effective if a month is missed.
• The Core Membership may be shared with one additional person only.
• After the minimum term has been completed, memberships may be cancelled subject to one month’s paid notice.
  • Frozen months do not count towards a notice period.
• All membership payments are non-refundable for any reason.
• The Red-Light Core Membership may be upgraded to a Red-Light Pro Membership at no cost, with no Core Membership notice period required.
• If you run out of credits, you may purchase additional sessions within the same month at your current membership tier rate. Additional sessions £25 each

Red Light Performance Membership

• £180 per month
• Includes 8 credits per month (equivalent to £22.50 per session).

Membership Terms

• Payments are taken on the 1st of each month, unless a specific alternative payment date is agreed.
• Minimum commitment: 3 months.
• If cancelled before completion of the minimum term, the remaining balance required to complete the 3-month commitment will be charged at the point of cancellation.
• Credits:
  • Valid for 30 days.
  • Do not roll over.
  • Unused credits are forfeited.
• Memberships may be frozen for a maximum of one month at a time, with no payment due during the frozen month.
  • Example: January freeze → February active → March freeze.
• Memberships cannot be frozen for more than one month consecutively.
• Red-Light Therapy is less effective if a month is missed.
• The Core Membership may be shared with one additional person only.
• After the minimum term has been completed, memberships may be cancelled subject to one month’s paid notice.

• The Red-Light Core Membership may be upgraded to a Red-Light Pro Membership at no cost, with no Core Membership notice period required.
• If you run out of credits, you may purchase additional sessions within the same month at your current membership tier rate. Additional sessions £22.50 each

Red Light Pro Membership

• £240 per month
• Includes 12 credits per month (equivalent to £20 per session).

Membership Terms:

• Payments are taken on the 1st of each month, unless a specific alternative payment date is agreed.
• Minimum commitment: 3 months.
• Early cancellation will result in the remaining balance required to complete the minimum term being charged.
• Credits:
  • Valid for 30 days.
  • Do not roll over.
  • Unused credits are forfeited.
• Memberships may be frozen for a maximum of one month at a time.
• Frozen months do not count towards notice periods.
• Red-Light Therapy is less effective if a month is missed.
• The Pro Membership may be shared with unlimited people.
• After the minimum term has been completed, memberships may be cancelled subject to one month’s paid notice.
• All membership payments are non-refundable for any reason.
• The Red-Light Pro Membership may be downgraded to a Red-Light Core Membership for a £50 fee, subject to a one-month paid notice period at the Pro Membership price.
• If you run out of credits, you may purchase additional sessions within the same month at your current membership tier rate. Additional sessions £20 each

Packages

• Pack of 8: £320 (£40 per session)
• Pack of 12: £420 (£35 per session)
• Pack of 16: £480 (£30 per session)

Package Terms:

• Packages may be shared with unlimited people.
• Packages have a 6-month expiry from the date of purchase.
• Unused sessions expire after 6 months.
• All packages are non-refundable for any reason.
• Massage Membership Cross-Use

Cancellation, Safety and Other Terms

• 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
• Cancellations within 24 hours, or failure to attend (no-shows), will result in the session being forfeited and non-refundable.
• Free protective goggles are available for hire at the front desk.
• Professional goggles may be purchased at the front desk for £20.
• Sessions may be rescheduled due to equipment maintenance or unforeseen circumstances. No refunds will be issued in such cases.
• Prices and membership terms may be updated with reasonable notice. Existing members will be notified in advance of any changes.
• Customers are responsible for informing staff of any medical conditions prior to treatment.

The Massage Company (TMC) massage members may use 0.5 massage credits to book one Red-Light Therapy session.

Red-Light Therapy is most effective when undertaken 1–3 times per week over a sustained period.
